    A pop-up menu will appear, showing the directory to which you want to move these three folders to. Remove the \u201c\/wpitems\u201d and click the Move File(s)<\/strong>. Navigate back to the \u201cwp-content\u201d folder by clicking \u201cUp One Level\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Now you should see all three folders recently moved, the zipped \u201cwpitems\u201d folder and the unzipped empty \u201cwpitems\u201d folder. Select and delete both folders labelled \u201cwpitems\u201d (zipped and unzipped).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Next, navigate back to your root folder (public_html) and look for a file labelled wp-config<\/strong>. Select it and click \u201cEdit\u201d in the top navigation bar to edit its content.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In your wp-config.php file, you will see a lot of codes and comments. Do not be overwhelmed by that. Click CTR + F<\/strong> to find a particular text, in the pop-up shown type \u201c$table_prefix<\/strong>\u201d to find the table prefix of the current live WordPress database.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Change the value to \u2018wp_<\/strong>\u2019 or whatever the prefix of your localhost WordPress site database is. For example: \u2018wp896_\u2019 to \u2018wp_\u2019. And click Save Changes<\/strong> then close.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Now, locate the folder where you downloaded the exported localhost database<\/strong> we talked about in \u201cStep #9<\/strong>\u201d. Select it and open it with a text editor or IDE. I recommend using the Sublime Text<\/a> text editor for beginners as it is light and easy to use (there are other text editors you can use<\/a> also to achieve this same goal).<\/span><\/p>\n

    After you download and install Sublime Text. Select your exported \u201c.sql\u201d database file, right-click and open with Sublime Text.<\/span><\/p>\n

    When you open the exported localhost \u201c.sql\u201d file in Sublime Text Editor, you will see a lot of codes. Not to worry again, click CTR + F<\/strong> to find. In the find search bar below type \u201chttp:\/\/localhost\/sitefoldername<\/strong>\u201d and click on Find All<\/strong>. It would select all text relating to \u201chttp:\/\/localhost\/sitefoldername<\/strong>\u201d (replace sitefoldername\u00a0<\/strong>with your localhost site folder name).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Then replace all highlighted text with your new live WordPress site URL: e.g. \u201chttp:\/\/newlivewordpresssite.com\u201d <\/strong>(replace newlivewordpresssite <\/strong>with your domain name). And save the file with CTR + S<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Go back to the cPanel dashboard, scroll down and click on phpMyAdmin<\/strong> under the Databases section <\/strong>to open the database dashboard. Select and open the live WordPress site database currently in use.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Navigate to the Export<\/strong> tab in the top navigation bar and export the database (just to be safe, though not needed anymore). Then Check all<\/strong> tables in the database and click drop<\/strong> to delete the current tables of the live WordPress site.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Finally, Navigate to the import tab, Click on the choose file<\/strong> button, and select the newly modified localhost WordPress site database <\/strong>(make sure to rename the localhost database file to the new live site database name).
